Navajo Double Saddle Blanket, c.1930s

This Navajo double saddle blanket dates to about the 1930s. The blanket is made from homespun wool and has a pleasing geometric fret design border suggesting running water. While the blanket is beige with a black border design, the tassels feature pops of red wool. The blanket measures 55" height and 35" width, and is in good condition with some minor moth grazing (see photos). There is also some fading on one side which can be seen in the photos.

Jt16 -- $750
