This finely crafted kachina doll represents the Marao Kachina, known for his distinctive tripod headdress. Carved in the 1960s, the figure stands out for its exceptionally naturalistic dancing posture and elaborate mask finish. Detailed features include a miniature fox pelt, a painted concho belt, and a bow guard, all executed with remarkable precision. The doll measures 17" high and is in excellent original condition.
