Acoma Bird Jar, c.1930-1940
A gorgeous example of traditional pottery from Acoma Pueblo in the 1940s, this jar features an attractive bird/parrot motif accented with detailed fine-line designs. This piece is thinly potted by a skilled traditional artist. It is unsigned and marked "Acoma, N.M." on the bottom. It measures 9 1/2" high by 11" in diameter and is traditionally made and fired. A great addition to any collection.
