Hoote Kachina, c.1960 new

A great traditional Hopi kachina doll dating from the 1960s, this piece represents the Hoote kachina with excellent attention to detail. The doll’s miniature regalia includes finely rendered accents on the figure’s face, a painted squash blossom necklace and a tiny dance sash. The details are true to Hopi ceremonies and clearly painted by an experienced carver. This piece measures 5 ½” high. An excellent addition to your collection of Kachina dolls.
