Elder Warrior God Kachina, c.1950 new

This traditional Hopi kachina doll depicts Po-okong-hoya, the Elder Warrior God. Known for his conical hat, this figure is typically depicted with a black-painted face, marked with two white vertical warrior lines. This piece was carved in the 1940s–1950s and stands 11" high. A compelling and rare addition to any collection of Hopi kachina dolls.
