Hopi Polychrome Yellowware Seed Jar by Nampeyo, c.1895
Nampeyo (1856-1942) made this polychrome seed jar around 1895. The jar has a four panel design with alternating eagle tail drops and abstract kachina faces—two classic Nampeyo designs. Additionally, the jar has an early red rim. The jar measures 3” height and 7” diameter, and is in excellent condition without repair.
