Hopi Black and White on Red Open Bowl by Nampeyo, c.1905
This is a black and white on red open bowl by Nampeyo, c. 1905. The white fired well, and the bowl has a classic eagle tail three feather drop design. The design is part of Nampeyo's Sikyatki Revival art movement, showing clear influence from the designs of the ancient Hopi village, while still being an original design by Nampeyo. The bowl measures 2 1/4" height and 7 1/4" diameter, and is in excellent condition. Complimentary shipping included.
