Hopi Polychrome Jar by Jeremy Adams Nampeyo updated

This Hopi jar by Jeremy Adams Nampeyo was fired in June 2021. Jeremy Adams Nampeyo is the son of Vernida Polacca Nampeyo (1955- ), the great-grandson of Fannie Polacca Nampeyo (1900-1987), and the great-great-grandson of Nampeyo (1856-1942). Jeremy learned traditional pottery-making from his mother Vernida, who learned from her grandmother Fannie. This jar is decorated with double parrots on both sides, a traditional Nampeyo family design. The jar measures 10 1/2" height and 7" width, and is in excellent original condition.
