Annie Healing Nampeyo Jar, c.1925
Most of Annie Healing's pottery is merged with the work of her mother Nampeyo with whom she worked closely for many years. While unsigned, this medium sized jar features Annie's familiar bird figure on the left side of her large design. The design is vertical with the bird's head on the bottom and feathers branching out on the top left. See the second photo. The jar dates to the mid-1920s and is in excellent condition. It measures 5" high by 6 1/2" in diameter. A nice example of Nampeyo family pottery.
