Small Hopi Jar by Fannie Nampeyo new

A classic example of the work of Fannie Nampeyo, this small jar is made with Fannie's characteristic precision with striking Sikyatki Revival designs inspired by the artist's mother, the great Hopi-Tewa artist Nampeyo (1858-1942). Fannie was widely acknowledged as the prominent master potter in the Hopi-Tewa community for many decades. This piece is clearly signed by the artist. It measures 4" high by 4 1/2" in diameter. A great piece by a significant Native American artist at a great price. Highly recommended.
