Hopi Eagle Tail Jar by Vernida Polacca new
A nice piece by Hopi-Tewa master potter Vernida Polacca, this traditional jar features the iconic eagle tail design, one of many motifs introduced by the artists ancestor Nampeyo (1858-1942) and adopted by five generations of Nampeyo family potters. This piece was traditionally fired at the artist's home in Polacca, Arizona in early 2025. It measures 6" high by 8 1/2" in diameter. Signed by the artist. A nice addition to your collection of contemporary Pueblo pottery.
