Nampeyo Open Bowl, c.1910

A great example of the Sikyatki Revival aesthetic of Nampeyo (1858-1942), this graceful bowl features an original and well balanced design around its exterior. These flowing avian elements represent the artist's high period after 1900. This piece measures 3 3/4" high by 8 1/2" in diameter. Excellent original condition with great patina. A great addition to any collection of Hopi pottery.
