Hopi Redware Lidded Jar by Zella Cheeda

An excellent example of traditional Hopi pottery by master potter Zella Cheeda, the Antelope Woman. This elegant lidded jar features black and white Sikyatki Revival designs over a red slip. It measures 10" high by 8" in diameter and is signed by the artist with her antelope insignia. This piece is traditionally made from native Hopi clay and pit fired out doors. A great addition to any collection of Hopi pottery.
