Traditional Acoma Jar, c.1900-1910

An iconic example of traditional Acoma pottery at an affordable price, this polychrome jar features an abstract bird motif on a classic white slip. This attractive, medium-sized jar measures 6" high by 8 1/4" in diameter. An appealing, solid old piece with some cracks from ethnographic use. It has a graceful form and distinctive, abstract aesthetic. An excellent addition to any collection of Pueblo pottery.
