Hopi Yellowware Open Bowl by Nampeyo, c.1900

This excellent example of Nampeyo's early yellowware dates to 1900. The bowl shows Nampeyo (1856-1942) combining a traditional Walpi centered design with the distinct curvilinear designs of the Sikyatki Revival. The bowl has a distinct red rim, and measures 3 1/4" height and 8 3/4" diameter.
