Hopi Polychrome Seed Jar by Nampeyo, c.1900
This seed jar was made by Nampeyo around 1900, and features her interpretation of a Sikyatki Revival design in two distinctive panels. Nampeyo used this particular design on at least six other pieces, two of which are in the Museum of Us in San Diego. The jar measures 4” height and 6” diameter and is in original condition, with no repair or restoration, and very minor scuffing.
