Hopi Jar with Spirit Bird Design by Nampeyo, c. 1896-1900 updated

This old jar dates to the end of the 1890s, and features a terrific abstract spirit bird on each side which matches other spirit birds drawn by Nampeyo. The jar is in excellent condition, without repair or restoration, and measures 8.75" in diameter and 9.5" in height. Excellent example of Nampeyo's transitional work of the 1890s.
