Hopi Open Bowl by Fannie Nampeyo

This open bowl is a solid example of the precise craftsmanship of Hopi potter Fannie Nampeyo. Features the classic migration design popularized by the artist's mother Nampeyo of Hano. A strong, double-headed bird glyph adds weight to the inside of the piece. A well balanced composition places even emphasis on all these elements for a striking, undeniably Hopi effect. Measures 3 3/4" high by 9 3/4" in diameter. Clearly signed on bottom. Excellent condition.
