Single Strand Bear Fetish Necklace w/ 19 Bears, c. 1960 new

This single strand necklace has 19 white bears carved from alabaster separated by turquoise and heishe beads. The 60’s-era piece of Zuni jewelry has a silver chain and hook and eye clasp with hand-stamping. The necklace measures 33” end-to-end. Excellent workmanship with great details on the bears, each of which has inset eyes of black jet.
