Hopi Cigar Ash Tray, c. 1930 new

The form of this unique redware ashtray mirrors the avian movements of Hopi design work and is painted with black and white motifs on each side. The middle of the tray features a holder for a cigar. The piece has a black rim and is signed “Teuwack” on the bottom.

This piece measures 7” long by 4 ½” wide and is in excellent original condition.
