Mojave 4-Spouted Figurative Vessel, c. 1890

This 4-spouted figurative Mojave vessel has classic geometric motifs, facial tattooing, and original bead work on the necklace and earrings. The figure’s stylized head and face morph into the vessel’s handle. This piece comes from the Mojave craftswomen along the Colorado River in Southern Arizona and dates to circa 1890.

This piece measures 7 ¼” high by 5 ¾” in diameter and is in excellent original condition.
