Hopi Cylinder Vase, c.1930 new

A nice example of the Sikyatki Revival art movement, this cylinder vase features the iconic spiral design, one of the most recognizable designs introdudced by the great Hopi-Tewa master potter Nampeyo (1858-1942). This piece dates from the 1930s and is likely by a member of the Nampeyo family. It measures 8 ½” high by 3 1/2” diameter. Excellent condition. An affordable addition to any collection of traditional Hopi pottery.
