Hopi Bird Effigy by Fannie Nampeyo new

A wonderful piece of traditional Hopi pottery by Fannie Nampeyo, this ceramic bird is traditionally made and fired from Native Hopi clay. This piece measures 6 1/4" long by 4" wide by 2 1/4" high. It has a Harvey Company label reading "From The Hopi Villages" on the bottom which was frequently used on Nampeyo's work. There are similar examples of bird effigies in museum collections throughout America.
