Hopi Nataska Kachina, c.1960 new
This Hopi doll is a great example of traditional Kachina carving, depicting the black ogre Nataska with excellent attention to detail in the miniature regalia. It holds a miniature knife and crook. It was made by carver Willard Sakiestewa (c.1925-1992) from Third Mesa. This piece measures 11" high and is in excellent original condition. A great addition to any collection of Kachina dolls.
