Three-Strand All-Turquoise Zuni Bird Fetish Necklace, c. 1950

An excellent early example of fine Zuni fetish carving, this necklace features 48 turquoise bird fetishes strung on three strands of all turquoise heishe beads. All fetishes are intact. Measures 24" end-to-end with silver a hook and eye closure with great patination. A wearable piece of indigenous artwork with good age and a great classic look.
