Hopi Black on Red Bowl by Nampeyo, c.1905 new

A classic example of Nampeyo's redware period, this black on red bowl features an iconic eagle tail swirl design inspired by pre-colonial Sikyatki pottery. This design became a hallmark of Nampeyo and her followers. This piece measures 8" in diameter and is in excellent condition. A great addition to any collection.
