Classic Zia Four Color Jar With Four Birds, c.1890
This gorgeous Zia jar is a classic example of polychrome pottery with four birds encircling its exterior beneath white-slipped rainbows. This piece also features an orange background in addition to white and red elements. It measures 10 1/2" high by 12" in diameter and dates c.1890. It has a handsome, formal presence with unmistakable Zia aesthetics. Excellent original condition with great patination from use in the village. An iconic example of fine Zia pottery. Highly recommended.
