Hopi Polychrome Miniature Jar by Fannie Nampeyo

This Hopi polychrome miniature jar is signed by the artist, Fannie Nampeyo, along with her corn hallmark. Fannie Nampeyo was the most prolific and most skilled potter of Nampeyo's three daughters, who all learned pottery-making from their mother. Fannie also taught several master potters in the family including Elva Nampeyo, Adelle Lalo Nampeyo, Clinton Polacca, and Vernida Polacca Nampeyo. This miniature jar features a classic Sikyatki Revival design. The jar measures 2 1/4" height and 2 1/2" diameter, and is in good, original condition. Complimentary shipping is included.
