Navajo Silver Teepee Salt and Pepper Shakers, c.1920
This pair of Navajo silver salt and pepper shakers dates to the 1920s and is an excellent example of early Fred Harvey period pieces. Navajo artists created many different pieces for the tourists to the Southwest. The two charming teepees have silver wire "poles" at the top and traditional hand-stamping. Of course, they have holes and an opening on the base for actual use. These have not been used and are in excellent original condition. The teepees measure 3" height and 1 1/2" diameter. Ex-Colorado collection. Complimentary shipping is included.
