Hopi Yellowware Open Bowl by Nampeyo, c.1900-1905
This is a Hopi yellowware open bowl made by Nampeyo (1856-1942) around 1900 or 1905. The bowl is well-molded, and has four sets of two rain drops on the rim, a Nampeyo hallmark. The bowl fired well with a bold design and a nice tonality of color from ivory to deep orange. Measures 2" height and 6 3/8" diameter. An excellent example of Nampeyo's work. Complimentary shipping included.
