Pueblo Two-Strand Shell and Turquoise Necklace with Jaclas, c.1920s

This is a Pueblo two-strand necklace with turquoise and shell heishe, shell tabs, and two jaclas with turquoise and coral beads. The necklace has a “squaw wrap” closure, and measures 36” end-to-end—hanging nicely with the jaclas resting just at the base of the sternum. The beads were hand-drilled with a pump drill, and the necklace dates to about the 1920s. An excellent example of traditional pueblo jewelry. Complimentary shipping included.
