Hopi Polychrome Yellowware Jar, c.1910

This is a polychrome yellowware seed jar made by Nampeyo around 1910. The design is a variation of the ancient rain bird design. There are fire clouds on the bottom of the jar from traditional pit firing. The jar measures 3 ½” height and 7” diameter, and is in excellent original condition.
