Elaborate Zuni Fetish Necklace, c.1950

This old necklace sports 66 different bird fetishes, made of turquoise, coral, jet, shell, serpentine, onyx, and catlinite on three strands of old clam shell heishe, separated by two serpentine bird spacers on each side. One fetish is chipped, otherwise all original condition. Flashy, complex, beautiful necklace. Carver unknown, measures 34 inches.
