Navajo Double Saddle Blanket, c.1930-1940

This blanket comes from the Ganado region, and dates to the 1930s. It is woven with homespun wool, and uses primarily natural colors in conjunction with a commercial red dye. The weaving is in excellent condition, with no holes or staining, and measures 49” height and 36” width.
