Navajo Ingot Silver Cross, c.1910

An early example of Navajo silverwork, this cross features a large turquoise cab set in a sawtooth bezel framed by 30 delicately stamped silver raindrops. The bars of the cross are thick ingot silver with deep stamped accents. It measures 4 1/4" high by 3" across with a loop on the top for use as a pendant. A nice early example of wearable Southwestern artwork and a great addition to any collection of old jewelry.
