Hopi Polychrome Bowl, Nampeyo Family c.1905

4 1/2" diameter and 1 1/2" height

This is a Hopi polychrome bowl with a lug for hanging that was made around 1905 by a member of the Nampeyo family, possibly Annie, Nampeyo's daughter. The design is a classic abstracted bird often used by Nampeyo and her descendants. The bowl is in very good condition, and has an old Fred Harvey "Hopi Villages" label on the back. It measures 1 1/2" height and 4 1/2" diameter, and is accompanied by a custom stand for displaying.
