A large Hopi polychrome stew bowl signed with an antelope symbol for Zella Cheeda or antelope woman. The form and the painted design on this bowl was inspired by a much earlier Hopi ceramic style. Stew bowls or helmets bowl have been made at Hopi for at least one hundred years. This piece is in excellent condition with a clear signature on the base.
