Hopi Bowl by Nampeyo, c.1905 new

A beautiful piece of traditional Hopi pottery, this red-rimmed bowl is the work of Nampeyo, c.1905. This piece is expertly molded and painted. The design is attractive and precise, featuring Nampeyo's split circle design with attached red feathers. To the far left, you can see her abstract bird in a square maze. Her red rims became black a decade or two later. It measures 7" in diameter by 2 1/2" high. It is in excellent original condition. An excellent addition to any collection of Nampeyo pottery.
