Hopi Hakto Kachina, c.1950 new

This Hopi doll is a great example of traditional Kachina carving. This piece depicts Hakto, one of several Kachina figures which appear in both Hopi and Zuni ceremonies. This piece has excellent attention to detail in the miniature regalia. This doll holds deer antlers in both hands and has a tiny fox pelt hanging from its belt. It measures 7" high and is in excellent original condition. From a distinguished Arizona collection. An excellent addition to any collection of Kachina dolls.
