Hopi Miniature Bowl by Nellie Nampeyo new
A nice miniature by Nellie Nampeyo (1896-1978), this white-slipped bowl is a great example of Nellie's work at an affordable price. Nellie was the daughter of the master potter Nampeyo (1858-1942). Along with sisters Annie and Fannie, Nellie was a very accomplished traditional potter. This piece is clearly signed by the artist and measure 2 1/4" high by 3 1/2" in diameter. Nellie's work is scarce and this piece offers an affordable opportunity to expand a collection of pottery by the Nampeyo family.
