Description
This small migration jar has a sleek shape and a square-hole mouth. The bat wing design is a variation of the Nampeyo’s iconic Migration motif. This piece is signed by the artist. It’s a nice yellowware piece made by master potter, Vernida Polacca, descendent of Nampeyo. Vernida learned pottery directly from Fannie Nampeyo.
This piece measures 2 ½” in height by 5 ½” in diameter.
