Western Art & Vintage Photographs

Adding to our collection of Native American Art we also feature the work of early explorer Euro-American photographers such as Edward Sheriff Curtis, William Henry Jackson, and F.A. Rhinehart. The early photographs produced by these artist of Native Americans give us a historical context for understanding the beautiful objects and works of art they created. Similarly Western trained Non-Native painters who were inspired by the beauty of the rugged Rocky Mountains, the Red Rock Desserts, and the Native people add to our understanding and love of Southwestern Cultures.
