The earliest earrings made in the southwest were done in copper and silver and the mosaic style earrings made by the prehistoric pueblo Indians are one of the most interesting styles developed here in the Southwest. Over the last one hundred years the styles have become very elaborate, petit point chandelier earrings are just one good example.
