Large Hopi Eagle Tail Jar by Fannie Nampeyo

This large seed jar is a great example of traditional Hopi potting by Fannie Nampeyo, daughter of the famed Nampeyo of Hano. Featuring a traditional eagle tail design around a red mouth, it is exceptionally well made and exhibits fine design on the exterior. Measures 6 1/2" high by 11" in diameter. Projects a large, undeniably Southwestern presence. Clearly signed by the artist. Excellent original condition. Great piece.
