Acoma Polychrome Pitcher, c.1890 new

This Acoma pitcher from the 1890s has a Victorian-style handle and is an excellent example of a Pueblo interpretation of the Anglo world. The handle is decorated with alternating red and black dots. The design on the pitcher features classic Acoma fine line and three pin wheels which radiate like suns. The pitcher measures 6 3/4" height and 6 1/2" from the handle to the front, and is in good condition. Someone has lightly written "843" near the base. An interesting piece of historic Pueblo pottery. Complimentary shipping included.
