Navajo Six Stone Bracelet, c.1920
Here is an innovative example of Navajo craftsmanship dating from the 1920s. This bracelet is made from solid, hand-hammered ingot silver and showcases six untreated American turquoise stones. The center band features old stampwork and handmade silver raindrop beads and is framed by two chiseled half rounds. This piece measures 5 1/2" around the inside with an additional 1 1/4" opening for the wrist. It is an iconic example of Native American silverwork and a wearable piece of art.
