Hopi Polychrome Jar, c.1920-25 by Nampeyo & Fannie

7" diameter and 4.5" height

by Nampeyo

A Hopi polychrome jar, c.1920, attributed to Nampeyo and her daughter Fannie. The molding and polishing was likely done by Nampeyo and the painting by her daughter Fannie. The jar has a unique design that resembles rain sashes like the Kachinas wear. Very good condition with some minor paint wear, no restoration or repair.
