A Santa Clara carved blackware jar, c.1960 by Margaret Tafoya. This jar has an elegantly carved avanyu design with a highly polished surface. It measures 8 3/4" diameter and 5" height and is clearly signed on the base. The condition is very good to excellent with no restoration or repair.
