A highly polished blackware vase by San Ildefonso potter Tonita Roybal. Tonita is a well known contemporary of the famous Maria Martinez. This jar has a form reminiscent of early San Ildefonso ollas and is polished to a high sheen. It is clearly signed on the bottom and in very good condition.
