THis remarkable head cup is another example of the artist Emry Kopta's infuence on Nampeyo when he lived at Polacca for 12 years. As a sculptor, he taught Nampeyo how to sculpt portrait busts.
This piece measures 4 1/2" ht by 5" diameter, c. 1920, excellent condition.
